La encuesta dice... Hagomos Countdown! (Lit: The survey says... Let's do Countdown!) is a Margovyan comedy panel show produced by Godofredo Mariano Productions for Let's Talk Margovya. It is a spin-off of the British comedy panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and is presented as a crossover between La encuesta dice... and Countdown Margovya, wherein the gameplay format is that of Countdown Margovya, but the team members are from La encuesta dice... It was first broadcast on January 7, 2017 on Let's Talk Margovya, and is presented by Gennady Elemat. Orental Gibitov and Hafimwahlid Talnaev reprise their roles from La encuesta dice... as team captains, and Klara Viktorova and Andreya Ismailova reprise their respective roles from Countdown Margovya.

Overview

The show is presented by actor, director and producer, and former President Gennady Elemat, and features two teams consisting of two members each: one regular team captain, and one celebrity guest. The team captains are Orental Gibitov and Hafimwahlid Talnaev, reprising their roles from La encuesta dice.... The show features three celebrity guests per episode: one guest contestant per team, and one guest in the Dictionary Corner, alongside lexicographer Klara Viktorova, with Andreya Ismailova as number specialist/co-host.

The show is currently recorded at Studio 12 in LTM Studios in Ciudad del Celebridad, Dostalinsky (where Countdown Margovya is usually filmed), usually the day before or the day of (hours before) broadcast. However, from December 2018 to January 2019, Elemat, Gibitov and Talnaev "pre-taped" all episodes of Series 7 (which aired from January to February 2019), since they would be out of the country from January 14 to film their Top Gear Margovya special Euro-Africa Adventure, which ran through all Fridays of February 2019.

The show started with a five-episode first series as a "test mash-up," with the intention to air twice a year with ten episodes per series, like both its counterparts, La encuesta dice... and Countdown Margovya. However, due to the respective schedules of Elemat, Gibitov and Talnaev, who are also presenters of the car magazine show Top Gear Margovya, the show began airing thrice a year with only seven episodes per series, and one Christmas special episode every end of the year.

Format

Each televised episode lasts one hour, including commercial breaks (although in the DVD version, each episode lasts 60-70 minutes uninterrupted to include more rounds and comedy bits). Each episode includes 8-9 rounds (10-12 in the DVD version). The letters and numbers rounds are the same as in Countdown Margovya, with a tension round (worth double points) usually on the third letters round, and a conundrum (usually worth ten points, but depends on some circumstances) at the last round.
